Subject	Weird ECU behavior. HELP!

Message	I'm trying to diagnose a safety boost issue on my auto TT. But no matter what I do, I cant get the ecu to give a code, I've driven with both the TPS and detonation sensor unplugged. But that does not result in a CEL or a stored code. (when i put the ecu in diagnostic mode I get code 55) Any ideas what it could be? Besides the safety boost. The car hesitates sometimes in low rpm range. Also once in a blue moon it will stall under heavy braking THANKS!
